General Specification
Doors – All doors we supply are built from Kiln Dried Lumber stocks.
Exterior Dowel Jointed Doors – will normally be supplied 1.55" thickness (although there is the occasional exception supplied in 1¾" ).
Exterior Mortice & Tenon Jointed Doors – will normally be supplied 1¾" thickness. All panels are silicone or mastic sealed to improve weather tightness.
Hardwood Door Pairs – will normally be supplied 1.55" and are dowel jointed (although there is the occasional exception supplied in 1¾". They are suitable for use internally or externally and all are ready rebated. You may consider the Document ‘L’ regulations for application.
Pine Door Pairs – will normally be supplied 1.4" and are Dowel Jointed. They are suitable for use internally only and all are ready rebated.
Hardwood Internal Doors – are normally dowel Jointed. All Imperial sizes are 1.4" thickness. Some of the Metric Sizes ( 20.7" / 24.65" / 726 mm / 32½" X 80.3" ) are supplied in 1.55" thickness. If you have any doubts please enquire about the exact model you require.
